I created this Logo as a distillation of the essential elements of my photographic art.  The original lines were hand-drawn, and then used to produce two versions of the logo:  Black Print on Gold Foil, and Gold Leaf on Black Paper.

No unauthorised usage

The logo depicts in a stylised manner four aspects of my art.  Of course, the camera indicates that it is fixed firmly within the photographic millieu.  The high-rise buildings indicate the urban / metropolitan context of my photography.  The profile of the young woman states the humanistic emphasis.  And, the Sun symbol relates to my stylistic preference for warm and sultry moodiness, expressed through the contrast of brilliant light which also implies deep shadow.  I wanted the composition to be simple, and universally recognisable, with symbolic representations that are cute, endearing and fashionable.  In concert, I wanted them to recommend the urban landscape, not as a place of disconnect and alienation, but as a place of uplifting, inclusion and belonging.  This is my hope for the future.
